The George Eastman House photography collection includes more than 400,000 photographic prints, transparencies and negatives dating from the invention of photography to the present day. The collection represents the work of more than 14,000 photographers including all the significant figures in the history of the medium. The scope of the collection includes every photographic process and printing medium employed in the history of photography.
